Product Overview

Jujube Black (Steam-Treated) is a time-honored fruit featured in traditional East Asian culinary and herbal practices. Through a classical steaming process, the fruit naturally darkens and develops a deep, mellow sweetness and soft, chewy texture — a preparation commonly used in traditional kitchen recipes, teas, and slow-simmered dishes.

Our Certified Organic black jujubes are pitted, steam-treated, and low-temperature dried to maintain their natural flavor, aroma, and dark color. Free of sulfur, additives, and pesticide residues, they offer a clean and versatile ingredient for teas, broths, and traditional cooking.

How to Use

Tea & Decoction

  • Simmer 2–4 pieces in 300–500 ml of water for 15–20 minutes.

  • Enjoy on its own or combine with botanicals such as goji berry, longan, or ginger in traditional blends.

Soups & Broths

  • Add whole pieces to congee, chicken soup, or herbal broths for a naturally sweet depth of flavor.

Culinary & Traditional Blends

  • Commonly used in steamed dishes, dessert soups, and slow-cooked tonics throughout East Asian tradition.

Intended Use & Preparation

  • Not for direct consumption in dry form.

  • To be prepared and enjoyed as tea, decoction, soup, or cooked food.
